Being born in Mexico City, I enthusiastically embrace my cultural traditions as they offer powerful tools for social and individual transformation. My source of inspiration is the rhythms and patterns of nature; the colors, the space, the repetition of forms, and the energy of the universe interconnecting us.
My work addresses strong image-making to communicate ideas and narrate scenarios. Illustrative storytelling is also part of my portfolio.. My favorite medium is alcohol Inks, this medium allows me to express with spontaneity and has become my favorite medium to explore my inner state.
Art allows us to access our deepest emotions and experiences, which are often the source of our most powerful creative inspiration. My fundamental belief is that when we are free to express ourselves authentically, we become more comfortable taking creative risks.. Life is a beautiful game and we all can create a unique rich tapestry of emotions and aspirations when connecting to that authenticity.
Currently, I am based in, Oregon. I am the owner of Mona Creative Studio. Additionally, I am fortunate to have the pleasure of encouraging children and adults to manifest their unique creativity through art; teaching others extends the growth of artistic expression valuable to my community.
